Monthly Goals | January & February 2017

5:44 PM

December was a great, but busy month. I had tons of events to attend, Christmas preparation, and traveling. I really had to gather myself the day before New Years to get ready for the upcoming year. When I first started dating T, I would ask him what’s one thing he wanted to do for himself this week. He had the hardest time answering. Now when I ask, it's a little easier. So for the month of January T and I set two goals we wanted to accomplish.

My January Goals Re-Cap |

1. Read 1.5 books (Done)
2. Pay off my credit card (Done)

T's January Goals |

1. Squat 475 by January 31st (Accomplished by January 27th)
2. Go to the dentist (Not done)

I wrote both of our goals down in my planner and every time I look at it, I'm able to see what we're working on and reflect where we're at. So as I prepare for February, I've set some new goals I want to accomplish.

Health & Fitness |

1. Try an Acro and Flexibility Class - I used to be able to bend and stretch all types of ways. Now I can barely touch my legs. I'm looking for this to release some tension I have and give me more flexibility.
2. Eat bread once a week - This is fitness related right? I eat entirely too much bread. So, I'm hoping I can be a responsible individual and cut back.

Travel |

3. Apply for our passport by January 10th - I have a lot of travel plans this year and next year.
4. Prepare for my trip to the Bahamas

Random |

5. Mail Valentine’s Day Cards - These are already ordered (thank you Tiny Prints), packaged, and addressed! Just waiting on the scheduled day to ship!

6. Read two books this month - Last month I read one book and started another. I am currently reading a devotional and a book I got from Dollar Tree! This month I plan to finish the books I am currently reading and read two additional books.

Cooking |

7. Add two new recipes to my cookbook - I'm always trying something in the kitchen! This month I plan on trying new recipes as well as coming up with some new stuff for my followers to try!

I'm looking forward to this year. I realize I can't get ahead of myself, so I' going to (try) to take it one month at a time.

T's February Goals
